Minimally Invasive Surgery
Surgical expertise in reproductive surgery is a key component of the care offered by the reproductive endocrinology and infertility team. The experience of surgical technique assists in maximizing evaluation and treatment. Minimally invasive surgical techniques, as well as robotic surgery are used to obtain the best outcome. Additionally, many office procedures are available that decrease the need for anesthesia and increase satisfaction.
Examples of the diagnoses addressed include:
•Tubal surgery, such as hydrosalpinx
•Uterine and vaginal anomalies
The institution itself has full subspecialty services and a Cancer Institute, multiple research endeavors, are part of the Reproductive Medicine Network (RMN), and have a 4 Diamonds Fund which covers fertility preservation services for those who qualify for this.
