Bonvena began operations in October, 2016, and its laboratory of assisted reproduction is foreseen to be fully operating in 2018. With a well designed interdisciplinary approach, BONVENA’s team has been working in partnership with oncology centers, providing evidence-based assistance and counselment in oncofertility. Fertility preservation for people with cancer and endometriosis, and those moved by social motivation is conducted as the main focus by the whole team. The oncofertility program is under resposibility of Dr. Bruno Ramalho de Carvalho, MD, MSc, who has been an Oncofertility Consortium collaborator for the last years, as a founder member of the Brazilian Oncofertility Consortium and as a co-author in the scientific production in the Global Network.
